Our 39th wedding anniversary!

On a beautiful, cool, sunshiny morning, we are off on our latest adventure, New York City! Today is our 39th wedding anniversary. It rained profusely on our wedding day. My Grandmother told me, "Blessed is the bride it rains on". I'm not saying we haven't had our rainy days, but I truly feel Grandma was right. God has blessed us with our beautiful daughter, Jennifer and our handsome son, Zachary ("What did you name him that for?"). Then they found Ryan and Amanda to share their lives with and now Ella, Meg & Henry Throne and Gibson & Maisie Hill are the light of our lives. Many friends in our lives have become family to us as we have lived away from our roots. Then to top it off, the Christian heritage, generation deep that we were born in. Shame on us if we didn't turn out living for Jesus. He is our reason for living and we give Him all the praise for the blessings He has bestowed upon us. May He find us faithful.
